Isn’t this that guy that drew his partner into most of his images?
Yes! His partner was Charles Beach, and he modeled for a lot of JC’s pieces. It’s widely accepted he was the original model for the Arrow Collar Man, a fictional character advertising Arrow Collars and one of Leyendecker’s most successful campaigns.
They were together for around 50 years, right until JC’s death in 1951.
